Könyvek

A Filozófiai Intézet Könyvtárának állománya negyvenezer kötetet számlál, 20  %-át német, 12%-át francia, 7 %-át angol nyelvű könyvek teszik ki. 

A könyvtár tulajdonában van Pauler Ákos könyvtárának néhány száz kötete. Legrégibb és legféltettebb kincsünk Hyppo püspökének, Augustinusnak 1485-ben kiadott műve. Elhunyta után megvásároltuk Simon Endre 1200 kötetes gyűjteményét. Bence György halála után két évvel felesége nekünk ajándékozta könyvtárának filozófiai gyűjteményét, aminek egy részét az olvasóteremben ki is állítottuk

Folyóiratok

Az Egyetemi Könyvtár folyóirat gyűjteménye kb. 15 ezer címet tartalmaz, megközelítőleg 250 000 kötetben. Az állomány legértékesebb részét képezi az 1800 előtt megjelent, több mint 400 féle, közel 4000 kötetnyi periodika. A külföldi, zömében német, angol és francia nyelvű időszaki kiadvány mellett az első magyar nyelvű folyóiratok közül tizennyolcat őrzünk ebből a korszakból.

Könyvek (1801-től)

Mintegy 1 600 000 dokumentumával az Egyetemi Könyvtár a főváros 3., az ország 8. legnagyobb könyvtára. Gyűjtőköre 1949-ig az egyetemen oktatott valamennyi tudományághoz kapcsolódó műveket tartalmazta, a későbbiekben filozófiai, általános pszichológiai, közép- és újkori egyetemes történelmi, vallástörténeti, vallástudományi művekre korlátozódott. Gyűjtjük és őrizzük az ELTE-n védett disszertációkat, az ELTE történetére vonatkozó dokumentumokat, a kutatómunkához szükséges kézikönyveket, szótárakat, tudományos és szépirodalmi műveket, a magyar mellett számos idegen nyelven is. A törzsgyűjteményből valamennyi 60 évesnél fiatalabb mű kölcsönözhető, ha jelzés nem tiltja.

Vodkát nem tartunk a könyvtárban, de például az Egyetemi Könyvtár közelében számos vendéglátóhely található. :)

Tisztelt Könyvtár Szolgálat! A SciFinder adatbázis elérésével kapcsolatban érdeklődöm. Egyetemi hálózatról próbáltam belépni, a bejelentkezéshez caesar azonosítót és jelszót megadva, de nem működött. Hogy tudnám a legegyszerűbben elérni az adatbázist?
