Amerikai Gyűjtemény

A United States Information Services (USIS), vagyis az Egyesült Államok nagykövetségének egykori könyvtára kb. 30000 kötetnyi könyve és 2000 videókazettája az Intézet oktatóinak és hallgatóinak ingyenesen, a külsősöknek egyedi letéti díj fejében vehető igénybe.

 

Tagsági díj és kölcsönzési jogosultságok:

- az Angol-Amerikai Intézet oktatói és hallgatói: ingyenes (a maximum elvihető könyvekbe beszámítanak az Amerikai Gyűjtemény példányai)

- az ELTE oktatói, hallgatói és dolgozói: ingyenes (egyszerre maximum 3 könyv)

Patterson-, valamint Károlyi-gyűjtemény

Patterson-, valamint Károlyi-gyűjtemény: az értékes, régi könyvekben az Ex Libris, vagy a tulajdonosra utaló megjegyzés található. A Gyűjtemény az ELTE Angol-Amerikai Intézet mindenkori igazgatójának irodájában került elhelyezésre, hozzáférése korlátozottan lehetséges. Íme, rövid életrajzi ismertetés a könyvek tulajdonosairól, forrás: Szinnyei József: Magyar írók élete és munkái, X., illetve V. kötete, Bp. (1905, ill. 1897)

 

 

Alapgyűjtemény

A könyvtár alapgyűjteményét könyvek, folyóiratok, régi típusú és új MA-s szakdolgozatok, doktori disszertációk, hangkazetták, videókazetták képezik.

Az állomány a 2015. december 31-i adatok alapján 73459 kötetet tartalmaz.

Vodkát nem tartunk a könyvtárban, de például az Egyetemi Könyvtár közelében számos vendéglátóhely található. :)

Tisztelt Könyvtár Szolgálat! A SciFinder adatbázis elérésével kapcsolatban érdeklődöm. Egyetemi hálózatról próbáltam belépni, a bejelentkezéshez caesar azonosítót és jelszót megadva, de nem működött. Hogy tudnám a legegyszerűbben elérni az adatbázist?
