ELTE Library WebApp

Our web application intended for use on mobile equipment is available from September 2019. It is not only a substitute for the paper library card, but also offers further services. It provides information about borrowed documents and makes the extension of loans possible. It is also possible to purchase a ”Copy and printing card” for immediate use. Its alert function can be customised, and the owner is messaged if a document requested is available in the reading room, or if the end of the loan period is approaching. The virtual library card can also be used as an ID when entering the library, and for borrowing without the need to hand over the equipment to the librarian.

On August 24, 2020, new features were added to the application. Online registration and membership renewal has become available, and it is already possible to log in with the Neptun-code.
