Adopt a book

SAVE A BOOK – ADOPT ONE!

Following the example of great European and American libraries the ELTE University Library decided to start its own adopt-a-book programme. Donations are spent on conservation, restoration and digitalization of rare books and special collections (including manuscripts, incunabula, maps, etc.), therefore the unique worldwide known collection of old books can be preserved for the next generations. Our supporters can attend a special book presentation after the restauration of the adopted book.

Donation can be made by an individual, private institutions, as well as public organisations.

Vodkát nem tartunk a könyvtárban, de például az Egyetemi Könyvtár közelében számos vendéglátóhely található. :)

Tisztelt Könyvtár Szolgálat! A SciFinder adatbázis elérésével kapcsolatban érdeklődöm. Egyetemi hálózatról próbáltam belépni, a bejelentkezéshez caesar azonosítót és jelszót megadva, de nem működött. Hogy tudnám a legegyszerűbben elérni az adatbázist?

Yes, you can use our library and the services free with a visitor's pass which you can get to information desk on ground floor.
