The event has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic! One of the early versions of the Eötvös pendulum, the “Paris pendulum” made in 1898, was exhibited in the ELTE University Library and Archives in the interactive exhibition „Under the the spell of accuracy – The Life and Work of Loránd Eötvös”. After closing our library, when the street is quiet, it is worth watching the pendulum during operation. We look forward to seeing you at our guided tours! Participation is free, but pre-registration is required. You can register at the e-mail address kiallitas@lib.elte.hu.

We would like to inform you that the Main Reading Room will be closed at the ELTE University Library and Archives on October 21, 2020 due to a professional event. Books can be borrowed, taken back and picked up at the Information Desk on the ground floor from 9:00 to 17:00.

In view of the epidemiological situation, the report of the K21 Quality Management Coordination Committee for the second quarter of this year was prepared electronically. The working groups prepared summaries of their work over the past quarter. Members were able to find out about the results and successes of the last quarter on the common communication interface of K21.

Vodkát nem tartunk a könyvtárban, de például az Egyetemi Könyvtár közelében számos vendéglátóhely található. :)
Tisztelt Könyvtár Szolgálat! A SciFinder adatbázis elérésével kapcsolatban érdeklődöm. Egyetemi hálózatról próbáltam belépni, a bejelentkezéshez caesar azonosítót és jelszót megadva, de nem működött. Hogy tudnám a legegyszerűbben elérni az adatbázist?

Yes, you can use our library and the services free with a visitor's pass which you can get to information desk on ground floor.
