Az Egyetemi Könyvtár legkülönösebb műtárgya az 1343 és 1354 között keletkezett Dante-kódex

"A gyönyörű miniatúrákkal díszített, különös gonddal restaurált kódex az Isteni Színjáték velencei dialektusban átírt, csaknem teljes szövegét tartalmazza, mely Dante halála után készülhetett, valószínűleg Velencében, s több helyen eltér a Boccaccio-féle másolatokon alapuló kanonizált szövegtől. [...]"

1948-ban az ELTE Bölcsészkarára iratkozott be német-francia szakra, a II. évtől német-történelem szakos lett, 1952-ben szerzett tanári oklevelet. Tudományos kutatómunkát végzett az Országos Levéltárban, majd az Egyetemi Könyvtárban, ezután a Népművelési Minisztérium központi iskolája levelező tanszékére került. Mivel önéletrajzába nem írta be, hogy egyik nagynénje Jugoszláviában él, munkahelyéről 1953-ban elbocsájtották. A Marx Károly Közgazdaságtudományi Egyetemen helyezkedett el nyelvtanárként.

Dante-kódex és Lotz-maraton – Kulturális Örökség Napjai az Egyetemi Könyvtárban

"Szeptember 18-án rendezték meg a Kulturális Örökség Napjai keretében az Egyetemi Könyvtár nyílt napját, ahol nem csak a könyvtár történetéről tudhattunk meg többet, hanem megtekinthettük a könyvtár egyik, ha nem legértékesebb könyvét, az úgynevezett Dante-kódexet. Most megmutatjuk, mi hogyan láttuk az eseményeket. Pár perc késéssel érkezem az Egyetemi Könyvtárba. Az aulában már elkezdődött a könyvtártúra. A csoportot vezető könyvtáros először a könyvtár építészeti érdekességeiről, elsősorban díszítéséről beszél.

Vodkát nem tartunk a könyvtárban, de például az Egyetemi Könyvtár közelében számos vendéglátóhely található. :)

Tisztelt Könyvtár Szolgálat! A SciFinder adatbázis elérésével kapcsolatban érdeklődöm. Egyetemi hálózatról próbáltam belépni, a bejelentkezéshez caesar azonosítót és jelszót megadva, de nem működött. Hogy tudnám a legegyszerűbben elérni az adatbázist?
